An Eastern-rite Catholic like you Triff! Lifelong as a matter of fact. Attended Divine Liturgy (mass) almost daily as a matter of fact. The neoliberals aren't fond of representing that aspect of him though. Neoliberals aren't fond of pointing out the same thing about Jack Kerouac (lifelong Roman Catholic) or Bob Marely (Oriental Orthodox convert) or Oscar Wilde (Roman Catholic convert). No, we on the traditional side are just a bunch of homophobic "legitimate rapers"! In so far as we are not as hip as these guys of course.
BTW the Maronite liturgy is magnificent, what a blessing and honor it must be for so many to be a part of the only Eastern Catholic Church which never left communion with Rome! May you find your way back there sooner than later. Our Lady of Lebanon in Coral Way is a beautiful community.
